These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Alvonex Academy website and to purchases made through our website. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

Alvonex Academy provides online training courses and sells selected physical products, including books.

Telephone: +44 7591 667372

Our business contact details are also available on our Contact page.

2. Our Products and Services

We offer two main types of products and services:

Online training courses
Our training courses are delivered online. Certain courses are owned and delivered by VideoTile Learning Ltd and distributed by Alvonex Academy under licence. Course descriptions provide information about the applicable accreditation, approval or certification.

Physical products
We also sell physical products, including books, through our online shop.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that descriptions, images, prices and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

3. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products or services in your order.

An order is accepted when payment has been successfully processed and we confirm or begin fulfilling your order.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where, for example, a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing error has occurred, payment cannot be authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the relevant amount.

4. Prices and Payment

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP).

The price shown during checkout is the price payable for your order, subject to correction of obvious errors.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.

5. Online Course Access

Following successful purchase of an online course, customers will receive access to the relevant course or instructions explaining how to access it.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when purchasing a course and for keeping their account and login information secure.

Course access is for the registered learner unless otherwise expressly agreed.

6. Physical Books and UK Delivery

Physical books purchased through Alvonex Academy are currently delivered to addresses within the United Kingdom.

Standard UK delivery is free of charge.

Our normal estimated delivery timeframe is 1–5 working days, unless a different timeframe is stated on the product page or during checkout.

Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

7. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Returns and refunds differ depending on whether you have purchased a physical product or online digital content.

Physical books may be eligible for return within the period stated in our Returns & Refunds Policy, subject to the conditions set out in that policy.

Different cancellation rules may apply to online courses once access to digital content has begun.

Full information is provided in our separate Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Physical Products

If a physical product arrives damaged, is faulty, or is not the item you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:

support@alvonexacademy.co.uk

Please provide your order details and, where appropriate, photographs showing the problem so that we can investigate and arrange an appropriate remedy.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

9. Course Information and Certification

We make reasonable efforts to ensure course descriptions and information about certification, accreditation and approval are accurate and current.

Where a course is provided, owned, accredited, approved, examined or certified by a third party, this will be indicated where appropriate.

Completion of a course does not guarantee employment, promotion, professional registration or any particular commercial outcome.

10. Intellectual Property

The content of this website, including text, branding, graphics and other materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Course materials may also be owned by or licensed from third-party training providers.

Customers must not reproduce, distribute, resell, copy or make course materials available to another person except where expressly permitted.

11. Acceptable Use

You must not misuse our website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, knowingly introduce malicious software, or use our website or services for unlawful purposes.

12. Availability of the Website and Services

We aim to keep our website and online services available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, technical reasons or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

14. Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Please refer to the Privacy Policy on our website for information about how we collect, use and protect personal information.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices or legal requirements.

The version applicable to an order will normally be the version published when the order was placed.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the laws applicable where you live.
